Pain Management

PainMgntIf a loved one is living with chronic pain due to severe arthritis, an old injury, or any other health condition, it can be heartbreaking to watch them suffer through discomfort and mobility problems. It might seem like the kindest thing to do is to step in and help with daily tasks like dressing, cleaning, and meal preparation but in doing so you may inadvertently impede on their sense of pride and independence.

At Allegiance Home Health & Rehab, we've created a unique program for pain management that makes it possible to give seniors the autonomy they crave and provide them with real ways to manage their pain and regain mobility, balance, and physical ability.

Our team of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists combine medical, therapeutic, and practical skills to provide seniors with a complete pain management program that includes:

  • Physical exercises to reduce pain and improve comfort
  • Rehabilitation exercises to relearn motor skills, improve strength, and develop greater flexibility
  • New and less painful ways to adapt old skills
  • Medical equipment (such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs) that allows seniors greater mobility and independence
  • Prosthetics and orthotics to reduce pain and improve mobility

With a recommendation from a doctor, it's possible to have our pain management services completely covered by Medicare. For more information about this program or to have your Medicare questions answered, contact us today.
