The Occupational Therapists services are instrumental in the treatment of injuries and the prevention of injuries relating to physical limitations due to illness or injury. Patients who can benefit from Occupational Therapy include those who may have or have had:

Home Care:

At Allegiance Home Health and Rehab, Inc, we offer Occupational Therapy in your home setting. Our Therapists perform a home evaluation to help build a customized care plan specific to the patient's individual needs. 

Services provided are

• Conservation of energy techniques
• Muscle re-education and strengthening
• ADL training for patient and caregiver(s)
• Provision of comprehensive rehabilitative, habilitative and palliative dysphagia care
• Oversee and practice of the use of Home Health Aide ADL and IADL skills
• Define techniques and adapt to compensate for limited vision or loss of feeling

Home Care Coverage

All patients are subject to eligibility standard and homebound requirements. Each patient case is reviewed to assure that patient will benefit significantly, and that the home environment can be established as safe, effective place to perform therapy and maintenance sessions.
