Why We Do What We Do.
There will come a day when you, my wife, and I will be in the same state as our parents. We will also need the help of a caregiver to assist us with our daily chores. When things get difficult, and they eventually do, parents rely on their children for support.
Although family may be willing to lend you a hand, doing it every time you need help may be impossible. For this reason, my wife and I opened up a home health agency to help the elderly live their lives to the fullest.
Why did we Open this Agency?
I used to treat patients at my clinic, but soon found out that their health worsened over time and they were no longer able to come meet with me. Upon their request, I would go to see them at their houses. However, the need for this got so demanding, and I wasn’t able to visit every house. After talking with my wife, she launched an agency that provided trained caregivers to elderly people.
How can Your Elderly Parents benefit from Our Service?
We understand that as parents age, they lose control over their mobility and balance, and they usually fall ill more often because their immune system doesn’t work as effectively as it used to. Due to my wife’s experiences with her own mother, we noticed that continuous care giving by the adult child began to put a strain on the deep bond shared by the two of them. That is why we came up with an idea that would benefit both parent and child.
The parent would become less dependent on the child and the child would be able to talk to their parents as they used to before. In addition, our aim of helping elderly parents accomplish tranquility, safety, and independence would become an achievable goal. We encourage adult children with elderly parents to hire a caregiver to look after their parents. Having the peace of mind knowing that your parent is being properly cared for is priceless.
