Allegiance Home Health Passes Unannounced State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Survey with Zero Deficiencies
Boca Raton, FL, November 21, 2014 – An unannounced Relicensure survey was conducted by the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) from 11/10/2014 through 11/13/2014 at Allegiance Home Health and Rehab, Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida. AHCA writes, “The provider has no deficiencies found at the time of visit”. An unannounced Recertification survey was also conducted at the same time. AHCA writes, “The provider is in compliance with 42 CFR Part 484 , requirements for Home Health Agencies”.
Unannounced Relicensure and Recertification surveys are conducted by AHCA Field Officers to ensure licensed home health agencies such as Allegiance are complying with State of Florida regulations. As a Medicare certified agency, the conducted survey also ensures Allegiance Home Health is compliant with Centers for Medicare Services guidelines and Conditions of Participation. The field officer supervised clinicians performing home visits including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists throughout Palm Beach County including Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach. Administrative policies and procedures were also reviewed to assure expected standards of practice are being followed during the delivery of home care services.
Arlene Mayo-Davis, State of Florida (AHCA) Field Office Manager writes, “On November 13, 2014, a Recertification and Relicensure survey was conducted in your facility by a representative from this office. Attached is the provider’s copy, which indicates no deficiencies were identified on the day of the visit.”
