Allegiance Home Health’s Rosie Inguanzo-Martin and Joe Martin were recognized as the American Association of Caregiver Youth’s (AACY) Community Caregiving Champions.

The AACY supports middle and high schoolers who have the responsibility of providing care for chronically ill, injured, disabled, and/or elderly family members, all while balancing their caregiving with school, time to be a kid, and often with work outside the home.

Allegiance Home Health is honored to be an award recipient and proud to be a community partner with the AACY.

Allegiance’s CEO, Rosie Inguanzo-Martin, is AACY’s Former Chair of the Board of Directors and currently serves on the Board.

One of the many ways Allegiance supports caregiving youth is by giving them a break through providing respite care. This allows the children to have a little time for themselves, with friends, or study. Rosie understands the importance of a good education and after school activities. That is why Allegiance offers help to relieve the kids by helping their family members. As a result, the students can succeed – and just be kids!

In helping these children, together the AACY and Allegiance Home Health are a part of their success.
